Fall Penne w Turkey Meatballs
Ingredients
Trader Joes Brown Rice Penne Pasta (1/2 the bag)
Trader Joes Pumpkin Alfredo Sauce (1/2 the jar)
Organic Ground Turkey
Garlic Powder
Himalayan Pink Rock Salt
Organic Italian Bread Crumbs
1 egg
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350
Spray a glass pan with cooking spray
In a bowl, pour:
1/4 cup Italian Bread Crumbs
1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
1/2 tsp Salt
Mix it up
Crack an egg in a bowl and whisk well.
Pour egg into breadcrumb mixture and mix.
Break apart the ground turkey and add it to the bowl of the egg and breadcrumb mixture.
Mix it all up!
Roll turkey into meatballs (You decide the size)
Place those sucker in the glass pan and bake for 22minutes.
While meatballs bake, boil water and add 1/2 the bag of pasta (or more if you want)
Once pasta is ready, drain, add 1/2 the jar of sauce (or more if you want)
Then sprinkle salt and garlic powder to taste.
Mix up and ENJOY!!!
Serve with meatballs on top!
Toddler Tip: IF you’re feeding a toddler-use kitchen sizers to cut penne into smaller pieces and break up the meatballs. Serve separately in case the kid ends up being picky.
